Meet the Wade family, Will, Alexis, and their three young children, who are navigating a challenging season following a series of unjust system involvements that separated their family and created ongoing legal obligations in Ohio. They’ve since moved across the country to rebuild. They need help covering relocation, housing, and essential expenses for their children. Our goal is $20,000 and we hope you can contribute AND share this message!!!
Their story
If you’ve lived through prolonged trauma, you know how it reshapes daily life—sleep, work, even simple routines. Now imagine carrying that weight while parenting three young children.
An early physician's false report on the twins' health (weight) while they were newborns escalated into Child Protective Services involvement, a traumatic separation, and legal cases that now require Will and Alexis to be in Ohio temporarily while they comply with court processes. Through it all, they remain loving and steady parents, doing everything they can to keep their children safe and cared for. They are spiritually strong and committed to rebuilding with dignity and hope.
Your support will go directly toward:
- First month’s rent, security deposit, and basic furnishings
- Short-term housing and utilities while they get on their feet
- Groceries, diapers, and children’s essentials
- Transportation to required appointments and court dates
- Childcare during appointments and interviews
We’re aiming to raise $20,000 to cover these immediate needs and create a stable landing so the family can move forward.
