Our country's veterans are the backbone of our community, with many of them having paid the ultimate price, leaving behind their friends and families to serve our nation. Despite that, many continue to struggle financially, find community, and face severe mental health issues; they go through all of this, oftentimes all by themselves.

Founded in 2024, the Valor and Unity Crew is a student-led initiative seeking to provide assistance to underserved veteran groups in South Florida. In the recent past, the Valor and Unity Crew has worked closely with the Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legions, and Vetinfo to support our veterans at fairs, social events, and memorials.

Our organization have hosted Service and Unity Day events at both VFW Post 3359 and homebase where we have donated Narcan, gun locks, and even clothing to veterans with financial and psychological needs. Thanks to generous donations, our group has assisted about 100 veterans in the South Florida area.

This year, the Valor and Unity Crew is hosting its first VetNight Gala. Our goal is to introduce veterans to different community leaders and businesses. The gala will be a space for our communities to hear testimonials and speeches from our veterans and local community leaders on a variety of important veteran issues.
