Support Matt and Lyla as they mourn the sudden loss of Sarah

We are a small community child care center reaching out to support one of our families, Matt and Lyla, who have tragically lost their beloved wife and mother, Sarah, to a rare disorder.

Sarah was a vibrant, joyful and carefree young mum who was taken from us suddenly this week at the age of just 33 due to Moyamoya disease. This rare, progressive cerebrovascular disorder, which she had managed since childhood, causes blocked arteries at the base of the brain. Despite being monitored closely by her doctors and receiving a clear scan just last month, Sarah collapsed suddenly and was put on life support. After numerous tests were conducted, the doctors delivered heart-wrenching news to the family they would be given a few days before they had to withdraw life support.

Sarah leaves behind a heartbroken husband, Matt and their beautiful three-year-old daughter Lyla, who must now face a future without her adoring mother. In this incredibly difficult time we aim to raise funds to provide Sarah with the send-off she deserves and to support Matt and Lyla as they navigate the financial challenges ahead.
