Dr. Vay (Vershawn Ashanti Young, JD, PhD), a longtime member, former chair, and passionate advocate, has seen firsthand the transformative impact this community has had on higher education. In the wake of NCTE’s abrupt and unilateral decision to decharter CCCC, the fracturing of the organization has already begun. The sense of unity and purpose that once defined us is now threatened, but the undefeated CCCC group remains committed to preserving our mission and supporting our members.
