The undefeated CCCC group is a coalition of CCCC chairs and members who have dedicated their lives to advancing composition, rhetoric, and educational justice. Dr. Vay (Vershawn Ashanti Young, JD, PhD), a longtime member, former chair, and passionate advocate, has seen firsthand the transformative impact this community has had on higher education. In the wake of NCTE’s abrupt and unilateral decision to decharter CCCC, the fracturing of the organization has already begun. The sense of unity and purpose that once defined us is now threatened, but the undefeated CCCC group remains committed to preserving our mission and supporting our members.

The funds raised will cover a legal retainer, allowing us to engage prestigious law firms, initiate critical legal research, and secure immediate legal representation. With expert legal guidance, we can demand full disclosure, challenge procedural impropriety, and counter manufactured infighting. These steps are essential to defend our community from divisive tactics and ensure that our voice continues to be heard in higher education.
