On Tuesday, Sept. 9th everything changed in the blink of an eye. A massive fire erupted in the family’s detached garage. Explosions, fireworks, and chaotic flames — it was terrifying and completely unexpected. In that moment, the only thing that mattered was getting everyone to safety. Thankfully, by God’s grace, they all made it out unharmed — their home was spared, and most importantly, the family is still together.

What many may not know is this garage wasn’t just a structure. It was the heart of BTS Contracting, the family’s life’s work. Inside were hundreds of thousands of dollars’ worth of everything they’ve built up over years: trucks, tools, construction equipment, materials, and countless personal memories. Much of what’s lost can’t just be replaced with insurance — or if it can, it’s going to be a long, painful process of paperwork, waiting, and uncertainty.

While some losses will be covered by insurance, that process takes time — months, perhaps longer — and in the meantime, bills, living expenses, and the immediate costs are piling up. Replacing essential business tools, vehicles, and machinery quickly is crucial — without them, how can BTS Contracting continue to serve their clients, pay their employees, and rebuild their lives?

That’s why we need your support. Every dollar given will go directly toward:

Replacing heavy equipment, tools, and vehicles so BTS Contracting can return to work

Procuring materials to redo the workspace and get operations going again

Assisting with household necessities and temporary losses (while things are in limbo with insurance)

Helping them catch up on immediate bills and expenses so the stress doesn’t overwhelm

This family has always been someone who gives to others, shows up for their community, and works long hours to build something honest and lasting. Now they need a hand. We want to help lift the burden — to give them space to breathe, rebuild, and get back on their feet without the weight of “how will we do this?” constantly pressing on them.
