Hi all!

My name is Alyssa and I’m Gia’s sister!

A year ago, my sister, brother-in-law, niece, and nephew experienced something no family should ever have to go through—their home caught fire, and in an instant, the place that held their memories, comfort, and everyday life was gone.

While we are so grateful that they are now in a better place and that their house is slowly being rebuilt, the fire and smoke damage destroyed nearly everything inside their home.

Beds, clothes, shoes, toys, furniture, and countless personal belongings were ruined. Beyond the material things, they lost so many memories and pieces of the only home my niece and nephew have ever known.

My niece and nephew, who are 8 and 12 years old, have had to face the heartbreaking reality of losing their rooms, their favorite toys, their clothes, and the little things that made their house feel like home.

Now, as their family gets closer to hopefully moving back into their renovated home by the end of the year, they are faced with the overwhelming task of rebuilding everything inside from scratch.

We are asking for help to support them as they refurnish their lives—beds to sleep in, clothes and shoes to wear, furniture for their home, and comfort items for the kids as they begin this next chapter. ✨
