Help the Takacs Family Recover from the Palisades Fire
Donation protected
The devastation of the LA fires has left so many people and families in complete despair. Houses and everything they owned have been turned to ash. Mark and Nancy are among those people and lost everything. Mark designed and built that home from dirt and it was there they raised their 3 children. It’s the place where holidays with 6 grandchildren were spent.
Nancy moved to the Palisades when she was 11 years old and attended Paul Revere and Pali. Mark has been there since 1984. Priceless items are gone, including a 70 year old diesel train from 1955, handwritten recipes from 1949, generational heirlooms, irreplaceable photos, and so on. So many people are in this terrible situation and they haven’t asked for anything, but rather want to make sure other people who need it more get taken care of.
We’re stepping in to make sure that they can get what they need but also to help them heal emotionally and get through this.
Anything helps and is beyond appreciated. If you're unable to donate, please consider sharing this link. Mark and Nancy are so thankful for their friends and support systems, all the people that have been checking in on them and sending their love. They are grateful for the first responders and fire fighters who have worked tirelessly. Thank you for those of you have reached out as it means the world to them. We pray for every person and family affected by this awful disaster.
