We are reaching out on behalf of our dear friends Adriel & Cheryl Sumitra, whose lives were turned upside down when a devastating fire destroyed their family home on the 4th of January. Adriel and Cheryl along with their four children, thankfully were not home, but they lost everything they own and sadly their beloved dog did not survive.

The Sumitra family is displaced from their home for at least 12 months, probably longer. They have been staying in various temporary housing but on February 1st are moving into a 12-month rental home in their neighborhood. Their insurance company is paying for their rental house and renting them furniture, but there are many other start up costs associated with making a new home livable.

As they face the overwhelming challenge of rebuilding their lives, we are rallying together to provide support and help them get back on their feet. The funds raised will go toward helping them get settled in their new home while they begin the lengthy process of rebuilding and restoring what was lost.

The Sumitras are a kind, hardworking family who have always been there for others in times of need. Now, it’s our turn to support them and their family during this difficult time. Every contribution, big or small, will make a difference and show them they are not alone.

Let’s come together to lift this family up and help them start a new chapter in their new home with hope and security as they navigate the lengthy insurance process.
