As many of you know, my stepfather, Tyrone Sullivan, had a severe accident at work unexpectedly Tuesday morning. Anyone and everyone who is lucky enough to know or have him as part of your life knows how hard this man has dedicated his life to being an electrician and making sure his family is taken care of. He will pull himself to work even while sick.
Unfortunately, TR was hit with 277 volts of electricity while up 9-10 feet in the air. While being hit with this current, it was nearly impossible for him to let go of the wire. Thankfully, with God on his side, he found a way to throw himself off this current. On the way down, he shattered his tib fib and knee in 15 places while landing on his head.
TR is not the one to ever ask for a hand as he works hard for his own. With my mom's business, she works every day from the moment she wakes up till she goes to bed.
My mom has done so much for others who are in need, no questions asked, and never expects anything in return. My stepdad and mom are both hardworking people who would never accept donations and take pride in being able to provide for their family. As much as this hurts their pride, I’m taking the steps to create this GoFundMe to help with the expenses of traveling back and forth to Portland & all expenses while staying down there, food as well for home making sure my siblings are taken care of.
We are not sure how long it will be for him to come home, but we do know he has a long road to recovery ahead of him. We are looking at 3-6 months before he can start his walking process.
Now, my mom has to be TR’s full-time caregiver and TR needs to rest & heal before even thinking about going back to work. It’s our turn to show them how we can all come together and help them out. Also, I would like to thank everyone who has helped in any way they could so far! This means the world to us, seeing the amount of prayers and wishes for a speedy recovery.
Please don’t feel obligated to donate; even a share will go a long way!
Also, my mother has PayPal & Venmo to accept payments as well:
