Help the Stancomb's !

Donation protected
Hello everyone, my name is Andy Sheldon and I am here to ask all of our friends and family for some help.

My cousin Morgan and her husband Waylon found out earlier this spring that they would be bringing a new life into this world, January 14th was the goal. However, baby Kandace Mae Stancomb had other plans.

A week ago today Morgan began experiencing some irregularities in her pregnancy and checked into St. Mary's ER. She was ultimately life flighted to St. Francis hospital in Peoria. Her and her unborn baby were monitored closely over the next few days. The irregularities subsided and Sunday afternoon the Doctors gave them the "green light" to go home and take it easy. Unfortunately, taking it easy didn't last long.

Sunday night/ Monday morning Morgan began feeling intense back pain and rushed back to St. Mary's. It was not long after she arrived at the ER that baby Kandace Mae was brought into this world. Weighing it at a whopping 1lb 12oz and 14" long. 3 MONTHS early! Kandace was life flighted to St. Francis. Waylon rushed down to meet her while Morgan was being cared for at St. Mary's.

Mom and Dad are doing "fine" and Kandace is hanging in there. She was recently put on a ventilator to help her tiny lungs breathe. She was also accumulating air and fluid in her intestinal system and Doctors have put a drain in to help alleviate the issue. Surgery may be in her future.

My wife Rachel and I's son Liam came 7 weeks early and spent a little over two weeks in St. Francis NICU. We know what they're going through and wouldn't wish this experience on anyone...Living and working 45 minutes away from your extremely fragile new born baby is one of the most stressful things I have ever had to go through. Being away from your spouse for days is difficult let alone the emotional rollercoaster you go through as your baby's health condition fluctuates on a daily basis. Driving back and forth and spending hours and hours and hours in the NICU is stressful. Maddening at times. Then comes the expense of everything. It is the very last thing on your mind, but sadly is a major reality.

Morgan and Waylon will be spending an unknown amount of time traveling back and forth to Peoria which will require time off work, having to eat on the go, and hotel stays. Not to mention the medical expenses.

Please help me alleviate some of the financial burden that they will experience through this very stressful time. It is not easy to reach out and ask for help which is why I am for them. If I could I would take care of all of these concerns, but I simply cannot, which is why I'm asking for a little help from our family and friends. Collectively, we can help get them through this difficult time. Any amount will help.

$2,000 is the goal, but I pray that we surpass it. Thank you and god bless!
