Help the Smith Family Find Stability

Hi, my name is Cindy. My husband, our children, and I are currently homeless. Two months ago, we lost our apartment due to severe secondhand smoke that coated the entire unit, making it unlivable for our family. Despite reaching out to management for help, they refused to acknowledge our concerns or offer an alternative unit or sister property. We were left with no choice but to leave, but not without losing our home and stability.

Since then, we've been surviving by using our savings to stay in hotels. But those savings are almost gone.

We initially moved to the Midwest hoping for a fresh start and more affordable living, but doors just didn’t open. We’ve returned to Denver, Colorado, but finding work has been incredibly difficult. My husband has years of experience in marketing, but no one is hiring. We’re doing our best to keep our kids safe, fed, and cared for, but the truth is—we're running out of time and resources.

We’re asking for help to stay in a safe and decent hotel while we search for jobs and a more stable living situation.
