On November 13th, 2025 the fire known as the Pack Fire erupted near McGee Creek in Mono County, Ca. and within hours grew to over 3,400 acres, forcing dozens of families to evacuate. In the midst of this fast moving blaze, the Slater family lost everything- their home, their belongings, every keepsake every piece of the life they built in this valley and their sense of security.

Today, we are asking for your help to support the Slater family as they begin the unimaginable, long and challenging process of rebuilding their lives.

If you know the Slater family you know their hearts. They have been a pillar of our Mammoth Lakes community, giving back whenever they could. Josh, (father) a youth mountain bike coach, Wyatt (15) a student athlete with Olympic skiing goals and Terra (Mom) a school teacher at the community school, Maggie (12) loves to dance and Ruby (10) loves horseback riding. Now in their moment of need, they need us.
