Hello Everyone,

Thank you for your prompt and generous response to Help The Skunks. Our GoFundMe goal was reached within hours, and we have surpassed it many times over.

What a testament to how much we love our skunks! It also shows how kindness, benevolence, and strong community ties live on in our sweet hollow and far beyond.

Many, many thanks for your participation in this fundraiser and for keeping the lights on for the people who have lovingly seen us through our celebrations, our sorrows, a pandemic, and so much more.

Last week, Carlos, co-owner of our beloved neighborhood watering hole, The Skunk Hollow Tavern, had a stroke. The good news is that Carlos’ recovery is off to a strong and inspiring start.

This fundraiser is for The Skunks, who bring meals to the table, tend the bar, wash the dishes, and will not have income for weeks to come. Please give what you can to tide them over during Carlos’ recovery. No amount is too small, and your goodwill during this time will be very much appreciated.
