The Skinner family-David (who is my husband’s first cousin) , Alissha (my childhood best friend),Alexis, and Haylee—experienced a devastating house fire on 4/8 that destroyed their home and all their cherished memories. In a matter of hours, everything they owned was lost. Their beloved pet Susie is still missing after the fire, and the family fears she may have been caught in the tragedy, though they hope she may have gotten out. The shock and heartbreak of losing everything has been overwhelming, and the family is now facing the difficult task of starting over from nothing.
