Help The Sellner Family Rebuild After Losing Everything to the Bald Range Fire

Hello everyone,

My name is Marshall Sellner, and I am reaching out to our community during the most difficult moment our family has ever faced. On Friday, the devastating Bald Range Fire swept through our area with terrifying speed. We had only minutes to escape, and we were forced to flee with literally nothing but the clothes on our backs.

While we are profoundly grateful that our family—myself, my mom Karen, and my girlfriend—made it out alive, our home did not survive. It was completely reduced to ash.

This loss cuts incredibly deep for us. Three years ago, my dad passed away. Our home was absolutely filled with his belongings, his handiwork, and a lifetime of physical memories of him. Losing the house means losing those irreplaceable pieces of him that we can never get back. Navigating this disaster while carrying that grief has been heavier than words can describe.

Thankfully, we managed to load up our two large farm dogs and our cat, who are safely with us. Right now, the 3 of us and our pets are staying in temporary quarters at my aunt and uncle's house. While we are incredibly blessed to have family taking us in, we know we cannot stay forever, especially with our large animals.

Our ultimate dream is to completely rebuild our lives on our land. To make that happen, our immediate goal is to purchase a used livable trailer or camper. Having a trailer will allow us to move right back onto our property when we are allowed to, keep our beloved dogs and cat safely with us, and give us a roof over our heads while we do the grueling work of cleaning up the ash and debris left behind.

We are starting over from absolute zero. We are asking for your help to get back on our feet, buy this temporary home, and start the long process of healing and clearing our land.

Every single dollar raised from this campaign will go directly toward:

* Purchasing a safe, used trailer or camper to live in on our property.

* Fuel, tools, and disposal costs for the massive cleanup effort ahead.
