Help the search for Oliver McAfee

Earlier in 2017 Oliver had cycled 14,000km across Europe, he had also travelled to Mexico with some friends where he helped with building work. He travelled to Israel in October 2017 and was due to board a flight home on 1 December 2017, to stay with friends. As time passed, concerns began to rise as there had been no contact from Oliver. Oliver was reported as missing to local police shortly before Christmas 2017. Searches including desert search teams, police, helicopters and blood hounds have taken place but as yet haven't been successful. We are now aware that the last photographer taken using Oliver's camera was taken on 19 November at Zichor Junction. Items belonging to Oliver was discovered approx 60km north west of this location close to Mitzpe Ramon; these items included his wallet, tablet computer and keys. Some further items belonging to Oliver, such as other bags, his bike and shoes, have also been found a short distance away. Some apparent sightings have been reported and investigated but unfortunately the efforts in the search for Oliver have not yet been fruitful. A television report was produced and aired in Israel on 19 January 2018, which we had hoped would generate more information but unfortunately no new information has been discovered. We remain optimistic that Oliver will be found safe and well. We have met with several helpful people and been in contact with the Foreign Office. Our aim is to get Oliver's brother, Matt, over to Israel to meet with local authorities, search teams, radio etc and seek to obtain answers as to Oliver's whereabouts. The money raised will help pay for any 'Missing Person' posters, Matt's travel to Israel and anything else that may help progress the search. Oliver is originally from Dromore, Northern Ireland but moved to Chelmsford, Essex approximately 10 years ago. He worked as a self employed landscape gardener, which he gave up early 2017.
