Hi! We are Jared and Anessa Scolpini, and we are a family in the middle of our adoption journey! Jared works as a risk management associate for an accounting firm, and Anessa is a music director and pianist working in the commercial theater scene in NYC. We are currently parents to an awesome 11-year-old and our fur babies!
We are partnering with Friends in Adoption to adopt a newborn and expand our family in the coming months, and we’re seeking some help to help lessen the financial load required to take this step!
We’re going to be going live in the coming months to start our matching process with a birth family, and the expenses continue to add up. We’re committed to making this happen for our family and are so looking forward to welcoming our new little one into our home!
Any funds raised will go directly to our adoption costs. So far, we’ve spent around $22,000 with an additional $10,000 coming due in the next few months. We are hoping to raise enough to offset some of this cost so we can start to put together a nursery for our future little one and prepare for their arrival!
