Imagine you are going through life living paycheck to paycheck and doing everything you can to make ends meet and, at the same time, helping your dying child remain as comfortable as possible in their last days. Now, imagine that your partner, your love, and support throughout this terrible and painful ordeal is suddenly gone- killed in a car accident. This is only made worse by the fact that your partner was the sole provider, because you have been unable to work since you lost your sight.

This is the struggle that a small family in our community is currently facing. A few individuals and I have been working together to help this family as much as possible, but we need your help. The Santiago family needs the support of their community to help them through. We are raising $3000, with their approval, to help them with the cost of rent and utilities for the next few months, while we develop a long term plan.
