Help Rebuild My Parents Home After Hurricane Melissa

Hello everyone, my name is Romario Sampath and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart after the devastation caused by Hurricane Melissa here in Jamaica.

During the storm, my parents home suffered severe damage — the entire roof was torn off, and nearly three-quarters of their belongings were destroyed by heavy rains and strong winds. They are now without a safe place to stay and struggling to rebuild.

Seeing my parents lose their home that they worked so hard for has been truly heartbreaking. I’m doing everything I can to help them recover, but the cost of rebuilding is more than I can manage alone.

I’m raising funds to:

   •   Rebuild the roof and restore shelter

   •   Repair damaged walls and flooring

   •   Replace essential items lost in the storm
