We have been producing a show entitled Bahamas Life for the past three years and have shot over 50 episodes throughout the beautiful Bahamian islands. Our crew was shooting in The Abacos (one of the islands badly hit) the day before the hurricane but luckily we were able to fly to safety on another island. We are heartbroken to see the devastating results of Dorian and are determined to continue to celebrate this amazing place that has changed our lives.
Clyde Russell has been part of our show family for over a year now, and recently his brother Ahmad joined our team. The Russell brothers chose to stay in Treasure Cay through the storm to be close to their friends and family. The hurricane was worse than anyone anticipated and we didn’t hear from our friends for five very scary days. Thankfully, Clyde, Ahmad and their family are safe, but like so many in The Abacos and Grand Bahama, they have lost everything.
Please help us help these kind, wonderful, supportive brothers and their family rebuild their lives.
Any amount is appreciated and every penny will be sent to the Russell brothers to help get them back on their feet. Please share, spread the word and remember that behind the headlines on the news, there are real, genuine, kind people who have lost everything, and they need our help.-The Bahamas Life Team
