Help the Romero Family Find a New Home

Dear friends, family, and kind hearted strangers,
We are the Romero family a young couple with four beautiful children, including identical triplets, who have brought immense joy and surprises into our lives. Over the past two years, life has been a whirlwind. In one year, we welcomed our first child, and just a year later, we were blessed and amazed! to give birth to triplets. As incredible as this journey has been, it has also brought significant challenges, and we are now facing a crisis that we cannot overcome alone.
My husband has been a proud resident of Ossining since the day he was born. He attended every local school, from kindergarten through high school, building lifelong connections in this community. In early 2023, we made the decision to move to Albany to start a new chapter near his family. However, in November 2024, we were unexpectedly evicted from our home there. Determined to give our children a stable future, we found what we thought would be the perfect place in Golden Bridge, Katonah. Unfortunately, on the day of our move-in, the landlord refused to honor the agreement, claiming he didn’t realize we had four children. Despite having already paid the deposit and packed all our belongings into a U-Haul, we were left without a home.
Since then, we’ve been temporarily staying with close friends who generously opened their doors to us. While we’re incredibly grateful for their kindness, they’ve asked us to move out as soon as possible, as they also have their own space limitations. We’ve been doing everything we can to secure a new place to live, but finding affordable housing that accommodates a young family with four small children has been extremely difficult.
My husband started a new job in November to help us get back on our feet, leaving behind his previous position in Albany. Though he’s working hard, the costs of caring for four children and trying to secure housing have been overwhelming. On top of that, raising children back to back including triplets has been a unique and joyful challenge, but being homeless has made it nearly impossible to provide them with the stability and comfort they need.
We are reaching out for help and support during this difficult time. Your generosity would allow us to:
• Secure stable housing for our family.
• Provide essentials like diapers, clothes, and food for our children.
• Take steps toward creating a brighter and more stable future for our kids.
Every donation, no matter how small, will make a huge difference in our lives. If you’re unable to contribute financially, sharing our story with others would be an incredible way to help.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story. We are holding on to hope and faith that, with your help, we can overcome this challenge and build a safe, loving home where our children can thrive.
With heartfelt gratitude,
The Romero Family
