After living in housing for 22 years - Zulekha, Reem and Ahmed were wrongfully evicted from social housing without representation at the LTB.

Toronto Community Housing wants them to pay $35,000 to be eligible to move back into social housing. While the hearing to evict was happening, Reem was hospitalized and in a coma due to the chronic health conditions. Every member of the family is facing numerous health conditions. They all have clean records, never been arrested. Reem has received numerous certificates of accomplishment from Toronto Community Housing and now the family is literally homeless.
