Help the Al-Halabi family after losing their home
Donation protected
To whom it may concern,
My name is Alaa Al-Halabi, and I am writing on behalf of my family, which consists of seven members. We live in Gaza, where our lives were once filled with hope and joy. My father worked hard to provide everything we needed, but today, our situation is drastically different.
After being displaced to southern Gaza due to the war, we now find ourselves living in a tent instead of our safe home, surrounded by harsh living conditions. There is no work, and we have no means for a dignified life. Our tent barely provides us with protection from the scorching summer heat or the biting winter cold. When it rains, water seeps into the tent, flooding our belongings, and we struggle to find shelter from the water. The rain, which we once loved, has now become a source of terror, as we fear it might come suddenly while we sleep.
We urgently need your support to cover our basic needs, including the cost of rent for a proper home instead of this tent, which no longer offers us adequate shelter. Every donation, no matter how small, can make a significant difference in our lives. In addition, we hope to save some money for emergencies, as we are constantly facing orders to evacuate and relocate to other areas.
With increasing difficulties, any emergency or need for a child's medical treatment has become costly amid the war. Despite my father's continuous efforts to find work, all avenues have closed, and the situation has gone entirely beyond his control. He turned to this solution, seeing it as a hope for a better life for me and my siblings.
Hope still exists in humanity for a better life, but we are in urgent need of the intervention of donors with compassionate hearts and living consciences. We believe that you have the power to change our family's fate and give us a new chance at life.
Thank you for your time and consideration. We hope you will help alleviate our suffering and be a source of support during these difficult times.
Where will the money be spent?
❖1. $20,000: Entry into Egypt.
With Gaza’s borders closed, I aimed to secure safe passage into Egypt, where I could
rebuild my career amidst a more stable environment.
❖2. $13,000: First-Year Living Expenses in Egypt
Essential funds to sustain me during the crucial first year, allowing me to focus on
regaining my footing, attracting new clients, and rebuilding my professional network.
CALL TO ACTION:
