Please Help the Pulver Family
On a day that should have been filled with laughter and love, tragedy shattered the lives of the Pulver family.
They lost their beloved daughter and sister, Amanda Grace, and her rescued puppy, Dunkin, in an unimaginable act of violence. A former friend and coworker entered their home—their safe place—and took both Amanda and Dunkin’s lives.
Amanda was a beautiful soul. Kind, radiant, and endlessly caring, she carried a light that touched everyone she met. She had just begun her college journey, full of dreams and promise. Her puppy Dunkin, loyal and joyful, was always at her side—a symbol of the love and compassion Amanda embodied. Together, they were inseparable, and together they were taken too soon.
The family is devastated beyond words. Their grief is compounded by trauma: they too were victims of this violent act. They are navigating PTSD, depression, and anxiety, while fighting to hold onto the only home Amanda and Dunkin ever knew.
Now, to make matters worse, the mortgage company is trying to take that home away.
This is not just a house—it is a living memorial. Amanda’s room remains untouched, filled with her presence and memories. Dunkin’s pawprints still linger in the halls. The family also continues to care for the animals they’ve rescued over the years, honoring Amanda’s legacy of compassion. Losing the home would mean losing one of the last anchors tying them to Amanda and Dunkin.
A Lifetime of Service, Now in Crisis
This is a family who has spent their lives in service to others:
Amanda’s mother worked nearly 30 years as a critical care nurse.
The oldest son followed in her footsteps, also serving in healthcare.
The younger son has worked tirelessly with people living with physical, mental, and emotional disabilities while studying full time.
Amanda’s father dedicated his career to advancing cancer treatment through immunotherapy.
They have given everything to help others. Now, they are the ones in need.
Why We Need Your Help
The family is unable to work. Their days are consumed by grief, trauma, and the struggle to simply make it through each hour. While they wait for SSDI support—a process that could take up to 18 months—they face the very real possibility of losing their home.
Our goal is to raise $50,000—enough to pay off the mortgage and give this family a chance to heal without the looming threat of homelessness.
This is not just financial relief—it is giving a grieving family space to breathe, to seek treatment, and to hold onto the one place that still feels like Amanda and Dunkin are close.
How You Can Help
Please, if you can, donate today. No amount is too small. Every dollar is a step toward keeping this family in their home, honoring Amanda’s memory, and giving them a chance to rebuild their shattered lives.
If you cannot donate, please share this campaign with others. Your voice can carry their story farther than they could ever do alone.
From the bottom of our hearts—thank you.
