<div>They lost their beloved daughter and sister, Amanda Grace, and her rescued puppy, Dunkin, in an unimaginable act of violence. A former friend and coworker entered their home—their safe place—and took both Amanda and Dunkin’s lives.

<div>Amanda was a beautiful soul. Kind, radiant, and endlessly caring, she carried a light that touched everyone she met. She had just begun her college journey, full of dreams and promise. Her puppy Dunkin, loyal and joyful, was always at her side—a symbol of the love and compassion Amanda embodied. Together, they were inseparable, and together they were taken too soon.

<div>The family is devastated beyond words. Their grief is compounded by trauma: they too were victims of this violent act. They are navigating PTSD, depression, and anxiety, while fighting to hold onto the only home Amanda and Dunkin ever knew.

<div>This is not just a house—it is a living memorial. Amanda’s room remains untouched, filled with her presence and memories. Dunkin’s pawprints still linger in the halls. The family also continues to care for the animals they’ve rescued over the years, honoring Amanda’s legacy of compassion. Losing the home would mean losing one of the last anchors tying them to Amanda and Dunkin.
