THE PROVIDENCE EAGLE STAFF NEED YOUR HELP!
The closing of nightlife has impacted the city of Providence for worse. While there are legitimate health and safety concerns, and we understand and support the measures, it has been a struggle for many of us to find relief at this time.
The month of June is typically incredibly beneficial for Providence Eagle staff. We work tirelessly, from sunrise to sunrise the next morning on Pride weekend to ensure our customers have a memorable night of celebration. We depend on that volume of customers for our livelihoods.
As many of you know, Providence Pride is postponed this year. As a result, many of the Providence Eagle staff will be struggling without that source of income from Pride weekend. Many of us are already struggling without the bar being open. Some of us rely solely on the tips we make at the Eagle.
This GoFundMe will be going directly toward the Providence Eagle staff to provide assistance as we continue to weather these uncertain times. We will be running this fundraiser throughout Pride month in hopes of raising enough funds to coop our losses and alleviate some of the financial burden that has been placed upon us. We miss you all terribly and can't wait to see you under the red lights again!
