Help the Pastoral people of Magadi access water

Hi, my name is Mana.On behalf of SASAL, I'm fundraising to help the pastoral communities in Magadi, Kenya get access to clean water.
Background
Less rainfall, high temperatures increasing evaporation of water beds & sources as a result of the changing climate has aggravated water scarcity. As of July 2021, Distance to water sources for pastoral communities increased to about 40% further than the June average, the recharge of open water sources was at 30-45% below average and the cost of water in the pastoral livelihood zones has increased by 40%
Women and children walk for long distances to fetch water wasting a whole day and even missing out on school & other important livelihood activities. This has also led to poverty as the animals they depend on die due to starvation and thirst, causing a chain of other social problems including divorce, parental absenteeism, early marriages, health problems and death.
These communities have not received any assistance and are in dire need of help. Kindly help us drill them a borehole to guarantee a sustainable solution to their water scarcity problem thereby solving a number of these associated problems.
With your support, we estimate to ensure water accessibility to 4 villages and to more than 5000 people, while supporting almost 8,000 children go to school and survival of livestock essential for livelihood thereby reducing poverty levels. Water accessibility will also see to thriving vegetation thus helping in land restoration.
