On Monday, November 3rd, 2025, our family’s life changed forever when an electrical fire completely destroyed our home. We lost everything—nothing could be saved except the clothes we were wearing. Since then, we’ve had no choice but to stay in a motel about 30 minutes away, using all our savings just to keep a roof over our heads. Every day, we spend hours in the car driving our five children—Willow (9), Stella (7), Lillie (6), Fallon (5), and George (3)—to and from school, struggling to afford food and gas.
My husband, Steven, is a disabled military veteran who served two tours overseas. His service to our country is a source of pride for our family, but it also means our income is limited. The fire has left us searching for longer-term housing and trying to replace the essential belongings our children need for school and daily life. The loss has been overwhelming, and we’re reaching out for help to cover immediate needs like food, gas, and a safe place to live while we rebuild.
