Blessing and Sending for Paniagua Family
On Palm Sunday, April 13, the Mount Olivet congregation will have the opportunity to share a blessing and sending of the Paniagua family before they return to Nicaragua near the end of the month. As you may recall, they came to the Plymouth community nearly two years ago through a U.S. humanitarian program, with Tim Strommen serving as their sponsor. He and Dawn will be accompanying the Paniagua family on their journey home to help navigate customs and to assist them in getting settled. Patricia has been a great gift to the MO Faith Explorers program, sharing her artistic gifts and making the story of Jesus come to life through her paintings. Her artwork will be on display in the Fireside Room on Palm Sunday, where we will share a continental breakfast.
Rubel is a carpenter and wood craftsman, and when they return to Nicaragua, he will seek to support the family with his skills in this area. He will need to purchase tools and supplies in order to do that. Patricia is also hoping to start a small baking and catering business, and will need supplies as well. Mount Olivet members are invited to share a gift to help the Paniagua family with the expenses of resettling, as well as purchasing tools and supplies to support this family’s livelihood.

Your generosity toward this family is deeply appreciated. Please come on Palm Sunday and wish them well!
