The Open Trail Project was born from a deep personal connection to those who serve and those who have survived. With family members who are veterans, first responders, and survivors of domestic abuse, I’ve seen firsthand the challenges these heroes face. Too often, their struggles with stress, trauma, and mental health are overlooked, leaving them feeling isolated and forgotten. My team of volunteers and I are committed to changing that narrative by offering support, rebuilding assistance, and organizing trail ride events that foster healing and awareness.
We believe that healing doesn’t always start in a clinic. Sometimes, it begins on a trail—surrounded by fresh air, the crunch of dirt under your tires, and the quiet understanding of someone beside you. Out there, people breathe a little deeper, open up, and begin to reconnect with hope. The Open Trail Project is about creating those moments: giving people a place to step away from the noise, the pressure, and the pain, and reminding them they’re not alone.
Your support will help us bring people together through meaningful off-road experiences, support those facing mental health challenges, give back to veterans, first responders, and families in need, and build a community rooted in strength, support, and hope. This isn’t just about Jeeps or trails—it’s about people, healing, and finding a way forward together. If you’ve ever needed a second chance, a deep breath, or a fresh start, this is for you. Help us reach more people, change lives, and join the mission. Help someone find their way forward.
