Tragedy struck the Newman family on the night of October 7th. Myra and Brian received a phone call that would change their lives forever. Their worst nightmare had begun. There was an accident that involved both of their boys (Alex and Eli). Alex and Eli have always been best friends. The night of the accident was no different. They had gone out to dinner with friends and headed to Alex's apartment. In a freak accident, Alex's pistol fired. A bullet went through Eli's left cheek and lodged in his C2 vertebrae. Alex's wife, Molly and a good friend Tre, quickly began life saving measures. Eli is a fighter, he is strong and won't give up. The Newman's have a long road to recovery. The emotional and physical trauma would be a lot for any family to navigate. The Newman's are no different. The financial burden of this extended hospital stay will be heavy.
