Last night Easton Fire responded to 13 Columbus Ave to a house fire that started in the basement of a three family home. One of those families being the Nee family. The family consists of Kerry, Ryan, Talia, Penelope, and their beloved dog ghost. I have had the privilege of knowing this family since I was a senior in high school. Kerry has been my director at a local daycare for approximately 6 years and she is the last person who should have to go through this. Her daughter Penelope recently graduated from my preschool classroom and just started kindergarten this year. Along with the fire, Kerry is also getting major back surgery in the beginning of November due to herniated discs in her back and will already be out of work for weeks. Now with the stress of losing many of their belongings, currently being homeless, and her surgery, I set up this go fund me to help them get back on their feet.
