Hi y'all. I'm Julia's big sister, Jess. Bug (aka - Julia) would never ask for help in this way. Honestly, its a trait I think I can relate to. However, being in Texas and so far away from her and her precious family, I didn't know what else to do, so here I am. Asking for your help.

 

Julia & her husband Bryan welcomed their third baby girl, Sage, aka "Bean", just two weeks ago on Monday September 20, 2021. I am so grateful I was able to travel to Minnesota to watch her two other girls while they were initially in the hospital.

 

Prior to the birth of Sage, Julia & Bryan were aware of some medical issues that they might be up against post birth with baby girl. As most medical issues in uerto, there was still a lot of unanswered questions.

 

Sage, although tiny (5lb 15oz) was perfect and able to come home the following day.

 

Within a few days of being home, Julia and Bryan noticed that Sage was having trouble breathing at times. After a few scary moments, they made the brave decision to call for an ambulance.

 

Sage was transferred to the Children's hospital in the city (over an hour away from their home). After an EEG, they determined seizure like activity in the left side of her brain. While the hospital is the best place for her now, it has been a big burden and struggle for Julia & Bryan as they navigate Bryans job, life with the other two girls at home, being with Sage at the hospital, maintaining some sort of normalcy, gas to and from the hospital, etc.

 

Today, while they were meeting to switch shifts at the hospital with Sage, Bug was leaving the parking lot and got into an accident with a vehicle who was driving the wrong way down the aisle/parking lot. While no one was injured and in the end, all will be ok- it was a big kick in the butt when they are already feeling down.

 

If you are able to give any bit financially (even $5 or $10 helps tremendously) I know it would help this beautiful family feel a bit less stressed during these times. If you are unable to give financially, but can keep them in your thoughts and prayers - that is very helpful as well. xoxo

 

Baby Sage is hopefully on track to come home very soon. She has two big sisters who are anxious to snuggle with her again.
