Wheatfield, Indiana, family of 6, got horrible news no one ever wants to receive. My name is Sierra Deboer. On Saturday, 28th, my father, Tom Morton and my little brother, Layne Morton (10), got into a horrible motorcycle accident on Route 49. They were heading home from a family day after spending the day at the Michigan City zoo with my mom, his loving wife, Kayla Morton, and other two sons, Tommy Morton and Abel Morton. I'm his only daughter, and unfortunately, I am out of state and not there to be with my family when they need it right now.

My father provides 100% of the financial support for my family. My mom is a stay-at-home mom, taking care of my younger siblings. My dad is the most hardworking man I know. My dad has fractured in his right femur, right arm is broken in 2 places, right ankle badly broken/injured, and 2 vertebrae fractures in different locations. My little brother Layne had both wrists fractured, fractured right leg, and fractured at the knee, fractured to the foot, and one of his toe. Layne has undergone surgery, and my dad has undergone two surgeries already. This accident has caused extreme financial hardship with medical bills and a prolonged recovery period where my dad will be unable to work.
