A Family Trying to Stay Together and Find Stability

Hi, my name is Chris, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart for my family. We are a family of eight—myself, my partner Katie, and our six incredible children: Caleb, 12, Ameli, 7, Wyatt, 6, Harry, 6, Anthony, 4, and Oliver, 2. As parents, everything we do is to give them a safe, stable place to grow up—but right now, that stability is being taken away from us.

We were recently told that the home we are living in is being sold, and we were given no notice. We now have just three months to move, and we don’t have the financial means to secure another home in such a short amount of time. This has been incredibly overwhelming, especially trying to keep things normal for our kids while facing so much uncertainty behind the scenes.

More than anything, we want to give our children a forever home—a place where they won’t have to pack up their lives again, leave their schools, or say goodbye to friends. We were blessed to find a home that truly fits our family’s needs, a place where each child would have the space to grow, learn, and just be kids. But to even begin the process of securing this home, we need up to $5,000 for upfront costs.

We have looked into assistance programs, but unfortunately, many either don’t apply to our situation or are unable to help in time. That’s why we are humbly asking for help from our community, friends, and anyone willing to support us during this difficult moment.
