Help Our Beloved Mehtemetians After the Eaton Fire
Dear friends, family and kind-hearted strangers,
On January 7th, 2025, our beloved friend, sister and brother's lives were forever changed. We are heartbroken to share that everything this gorgeous family has worked so hard for has been reduced to ashes. The devastating Eaton wildfire not only destroyed their home but also their local school their two young daughters attend. They were forced to evacuate in a matter of minutes leaving behind everything, clothing, personal belongings, precious family memories and a sense of security. The fire has left this beloved family with nothing but the clothes on their backs as they come to terms with this unimaginable loss. They need our help more than ever to get back on their feet. The Mehtemetians are a hard working, kind and respected family who have always been there for others, now it's our turn to be there for them. Rebuilding will take time, but we know with the kindness of our community we can overcome this horrible tragedy. Your donations will go directly towards helping them while they figure out the next steps during this incredibly difficult time. Let’s help them live their life and look towards the future.
In addition to these immediate needs, the family also faces the daunting task of ensuring their daughters can continue their education without disruption. The school they attended was also destroyed to ashes and they will need to find new schooling options soon as they were set to return back to school from the holiday break today.
We have set a fundraising goal of $50,000 which will help get them back on the path of stability. Every donation no matter how small makes a huge difference and is deeply appreciated! Please consider donating, sharing this campaign with others, or offering support in any way you can. THANK YOU for your generosity during this incredibly challenging and difficult time.
