Hi, my name is BJ McKay, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart on behalf of our family after a tragic house fire destroyed our home on December 31, 2025.

We are a family of five: My wife and I have three wonderful boys, ages 14, 9, and 5. In an instant, the fire took everything—we lost our home, all our possessions, clothing, furniture, family photos, keepsakes, and irreplaceable memories built over years. We escaped safely and are now facing the overwhelming task of starting over from nothing.

Thankfully, everyone made it out safely, but the emotional and financial toll is immense.

Any donation, no matter how small, will make a real difference in helping us get back on our feet during this incredibly difficult time. Funds will go directly toward:

• Clothing and shoes for the whole family (especially sized for growing boys)

• Temporary housing and living expenses

• Basic furniture and household essentials

• School items and activities for our sons to help bring some normalcy back
