Help the Masouds from Gaza to rebuild their life
Donation protected
In the heart of the Gaza Strip, where the echoes of conflict resonate through the air, a resilient community of displaced people strives to rebuild their shattered lives. Families torn apart, homes reduced to rubble, and dreams crushed under the weight of adversity – this is the harsh reality that thousands of Gazans face every day.
In the aftermath of unspeakable hardship, the Masoud family stands as a testament to the resilience of the human spirit. Having survived the devastating impacts of war, they now face the daunting task of rebuilding their lives from the ashes. This is their story—a journey from despair to hope, and you have the power to be a part of their healing process.
The Masouds, like many others, have been forced into displacement, seeking refuge in overcrowded shelters with limited resources. Their home, once a sanctuary, now lays in ruins, and their dreams are overshadowed by the echoes of gunfire and the anguish of displacement.

Meet the Masouds

— Tareq who is a Pharmacist from Gaza, lost his home multiple times during wars in Gaza and had to rebuild it every time. He was injured in a previous war in Gaza and still struggles with his recovery after this injury. He requires a highly sophisticated surgery to be able to fully recover and practice his life in a normal way.

Tareq is married to Anood, who just graduated from the dentistry school and was unable to work or practice in her profession due to the war in Gaza. They both have a 1 year old daughter named Dodi. They struggle to even secure basic needs like milk. Dodi has missed a number of her vaccines due to limited medical supplies in Gaza and is starting to show delays in her development milestones and signs of trauma due to the war’s impact on her and what she had to endure as a child living in overcrowded refugee shelters with no access to anything. Living with them is Wejdan, Dodi’s grandma and Tareq’s mom. Wejdan has endured a lot. She has a number of health issues and had no access to medications during the war. Her health has deteriorated and she needs immediate access to proper healthcare. Wejdan, a strong and determined mother who has lost her husband 21 years ago and dedicated her life to raising her 4 children as a single mom needs your support today in order to just survive after the devastating impact of war on her and her son and his family.

The war may have stolen their home, but it could not extinguish the flicker of hope in their hearts.
The Masoud’s family have endured 95 days of war with no access to food, clean water, shelter or medication. They recently managed to leave Gaza after being forcibly displaced from their homes, and currently are in Egypt. This move cost them more than $35,000 (debt they still have to pay back) and they arrived in Egypt with no money. They are starting a life from scratch. As they were forcibly displaced and their home was demolished, they have lost all of their belongings and important documents, and now they are navigating the process of retrieving all of their documents and applying for new travel, education and employment related documents.
They have endured the unimaginable—loss of loved ones, displacement, and the struggle to meet basic needs. Now, as they embark on the path to recovery, they need your support to rebuild what war has torn apart.
