We come together to celebrate the life of our friend Frederick Martinez, a beloved father who, for three years, faced cancer with unwavering courage and a contagious smile. Frederick was diagnosed with cancer in the summer of 2021, despite numerous rounds of chemo, radiation, and surgery the family was told the cancer had returned and it was terminal. We remember a man who cherished family moments, embraced the great outdoors, and found joy in music and dancing.

Frederick, his wife Mayra and their son Sebastian came to Canada in 2009 from Venezuela and they worked very hard to build a future for their family in this country, later on they welcomed 2 more sons who completed their beautiful family. In their journey they helped so many people and lend a helping hand to whomever was in need.

Our friend, the late Frederick, was not just a father; he was a beacon of love and positivity. His laughter echoed during camping trips, his embrace warmed family gatherings, and his dance moves brought smiles to everyone's faces.

As we mourn his passing, let's channel our grief into something positive. The Martinez Torrealba’s kids – Sebastian, Frederick Samuel and Santiago – are left with memories of a father who taught them the importance of joy, togetherness, and resilience.

In his honor, let's support these children as they navigate life without their father. Your contribution will help ensure they have the resources needed for education, extracurricular activities, and the chance to build on the legacy of love their father left behind.

Nos reunimos para celebrar la vida de nuestro amigo Frederick Martínez, un querido padre que, durante tres años, enfrentó el cáncer con valentía inquebrantable y una sonrisa contagiosa. Frederick fue diagnosticado de cáncer en el verano del 2021, a pesar de numerosas rondas de quimioterapia, radiación y cirugía, le informaron a él y a su familia que el cáncer había regresado y que era terminal. Siempre recordaremos a un hombre que apreciaba los momentos familiares, disfrutaba del aire libre y encontraba alegría en la música y el baile.

Frederick, su esposa Mayra y su hijo Sebastián llegaron a Canadá en el 2009 desde Venezuela y trabajaron muy duro para construir un futuro para su familia en este país, luego dieron la bienvenida a 2 hijos más que completaron su hermosa familia. Durante sus vidas ayudaron a mucha gente y tendieron una mano amiga a quien lo necesitaba.

Nuestro amigo, el difunto Frederick, no era sólo un padre; era un ejemplo de amor y positividad. Su risa resonó durante los viajes de campamento, su calidez alegró las reuniones familiares y sus movimientos de baile hicieron sonreír a todos.

Mientras lamentamos su fallecimiento, canalicemos nuestro dolor en algo positivo. Sus hijos - Sebastián, Frederick Samuel y Santiago - conservan recuerdos de un padre que les enseñó la importancia de la alegría, la unión y la resiliencia.

En su honor, apoyemos a estos niños mientras transitan la vida sin su padre. Su contribución ayudará a garantizar que tengan los recursos necesarios para la educación, las actividades extracurriculares y la oportunidad de seguir construyendo el legado de amor que les dejó su padre.
