Help the Maas family recover from the flood

The Maas family has been deeply affected by recent flooding at their house located in Nooksack, WA. Late in the night on November 14, 2021, flood waters entered their home and by early morning the next day, they were waist deep in water and had to be rescued by boat. This has been so devastating for them, along with so many others. They currently cannot live in their home and, depending on construction and weather, they have no real return date. They are currently staying in a rental home in Lynden. They lost both of their vehicles in the flood and are borrowing vehicles at the moment. They have lost all their appliances and some furniture. In addition to making a mortgage payment, they now need to pay for a rental house. The Maas' have estimated all the damage over $200,000. They were told when they bought their house four years ago that they didn't need flood insurance because their house was not in a flood zone. With so many other families in need, they are unsure of any government assistance at this time. Please help me with blessing this family and show them support in this time of need. As much as this has been an absolute nightmare for my family, we are overwhelmed by the love and generosity that our friends, family and community has shown us.
