Help the Lorenz Family Get Back on Their Feet
Donation protected
After a year of life-altering setbacks, Chloe and Seth Lorenz and family are in urgent need of support.
In early 2024, Chloe Lorenz and her family moved across the country for what was promised to be a long-term opportunity with a new dog training business. It was a major decision. They uprooted their lives, took a leap of faith, and committed fully. But just a few months later, the venture collapsed unexpectedly, leaving everyone involved without jobs, stability, or a safety net. Due to confidentiality agreements, the details are limited - but the impact was very real.
The Lorenzes have worked incredibly hard to recover. They managed to rent a home, began rebuilding a business, and even saved enough to invest in new kennels and fencing, feeling hopeful about the future. But as they started to gain footing again, a series of emergencies struck.
Here’s what they’re facing:
- Their horse Posh has been diagnosed with a progressive ethmoid hematoma - a condition requiring frequent and costly treatment every two weeks, at $450-$500 per visit, and total vet bills projected at $5,000+. Chloe has already paid $1,250 out of pocket, but $1,400 remains past due.
- On March 26th, Chloe was kicked in the face by a horse at work. The blow caused multiple facial fractures, including a crushed cheekbone, fractured eye socket, broken nose, and a damaged tooth. She suffered a severe concussion, memory loss, and continues to deal with the emotional and physical toll of the injury.
- Dental care for Chloe is urgently needed due to her injury. With no dental insurance, the starting point is $600, with $1,800 more in recommended care.
Despite everything, the Lorenz family is doing their best to keep going. They’re paying rent, feeding their kids, and maintaining their animals’ care.. but with multiple setbacks, they’re now at the point of having to make impossible choices between essential needs.
This fundraiser is a chance to change that trajectory and give them breathing room, relief, and a renewed opportunity to rebuild.
If you can help by donating, sharing, or simply spreading the word, it would mean the world. Every little bit helps.
