Help The Lorber’s Through This Tough Time

To those who know either me or my family know there have been struggles throughout the past twelve years. To those who don’t know our story, we are a family of eight who had the amazing opportunity to be supported by our wonderful parents, Lance and Kim Ann Lorber. But in 2010, our mom got diagnosed with cancer and has been struggling with it ever since. Her cancer had moved to stage four within the past few years and is continually getting worse to the point where she requires the use of oxygen tanks and many others to help her maneuver around her room. Our dad had been carrying the weight of the family income since our mom has gotten diagnosed with cancer and has been a rock in our family, giving his all and being so selfless just to give us the life they wanted us to have. Unfortunately, two weeks ago our entire family got Covid, having it effect each and every one of us differently, our dad getting the worse of it. He was a United States Navy Veteran that had gotten a honorable discharge due to medical problems. He tirelessly works overtime at his job just to barely scrape us by week by week. He had saved up enough money for us to take a family Christmas trip this year but due to Covid, he has developed blood clots in both his lungs and legs, putting him on a machine to help him breathe and because he is in the hospital, we have to forgo our family Christmas trip. With our dad being down, we have no income as a family coming in which is devastating as we only have enough money to get us another month in our house before we are unable to pay next months rent. My family asks for help and support during this very tough time in life, anything is appreciated. God Bless!
