My name is Cathy Farrell and with Felicita’s permission, I am creating this GoFundMe to support her and her family during an incredibly difficult time. On the night of December 1, 2025, a house fire in her Chicopee, MA home caused significant damage to the basement and kitchen, and, most devastating of all, she lost her two cherished dogs who were truly part of the family.

Felicita is a dedicated family childcare provider, mother, wife, teacher, and mentor who is also navigating ongoing medical issues. This disaster comes right before the holidays and just days before her daughter’s upcoming graduation, turning what should be a joyful season into a time of stress, grief, and uncertainty.

Because Felicita is self‑employed, she will lose critical income while she works to make her home safe again and figure out next steps for her childcare program and family. These funds will help her manage immediate needs related to the fire damage, cover lost wages, and, if possible, give her beloved dogs a dignified farewell and final resting place.
