Amanda Longan is more than just a teacher—she is a mentor, a role model, and a truly compassionate person who has touched the lives of so many students, including me. She has always gone above and beyond to teach us not only the skills we need for our future careers, but also how to be honest, caring, and responsible individuals. She constantly reminds us to never provide care below the standards and to always treat people with kindness, dignity, and respect. Her passion for helping others shows in everything she does.

Recently, Amanda experienced a devastating loss when her house burned down, taking all of her belongings with it. In a moment, she lost the place she called home and the things she worked so hard for over the years.
