The Beechwood and Fort Mitchell community is starting a GoFundMe for Don Leonard and family after the loss this week of Shannon Leonard to a year long battle with Stage 4 cancer. Shannon’s impact as a band parent and member of the Band Booster Board was immeasurable - she fed, dressed and loved all of our kids.

Don and Shannon were fixtures in our community devoting their time at a moment’s notice to Odyssey of the Mind, Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, and Don continues his dedication to Musical props, and Beechwood Marching Band props among many other things.

This fund is created to help offset the mounting health care fees and other expenses associated with Shannon’s battle.

Thank you and so grateful for any support you can provide. Let’s show the Leonards how much we appreciate their dedication and support over the years. 

A memorial for Shannon is being held at Gloria Dei in Lakeside Park on Saturday, 11/25 at 4:00 and reception to follow at Braxton Barrelhouse.
