My name is Nicole Lennard and I am raising money for my husband's family (in-laws) who hail from the island of Trinidad and Tobago, W.I.

On the night of April 19th, 2026, in the quiet town of Sookoo Trace, Claxton Bay, Trinidad, the Lennard family watched as twenty-five years of memories, love, and history went up in flames. A devastating fire tore through their long-time residence, leaving nothing behind but charred remains and ash. The fire was so rapid and intense that they were unable to save anything! The Lennard family has lost absolutely everything, including items that can never be replaced:

Irreplaceable Memories: Decades of wedding photos, childhood pictures, and family videos.

Vital Documents: Birth certificates, school certificates, and government-issued photo IDs.

Daily Essentials: All of their clothing, shoes, and personal belongings.

But while the loss of a house is tragic, for the Lennard family and the community, this was much more than just a building.

For over two and a half decades, the Lennard home was a sanctuary. It wasn't just where they raised their own; it was a place that fostered the lives of countless people in our neighborhood. Whether it was a warm meal, a place to stay, or a word of encouragement, the Lennards' door was always open. Their selfless nature has defined the spirit of their community for a generation.

The road to recovery is long and daunting, so we are raising funds to help the Lennard family secure the basic necessities they need right now, and to begin the monumental task of rebuilding their home and their lives.
