Sept 05, 2025 Update:
Dear friends,
To God be the glory, TRAVEL VISAS HAVE BEEN APPROVED FOR 3 OF ANGELINA'S FAMILY MEMBERS and we are encouraged to keep trying to help this family find peace & support.
We still have close to $3,500 after deduction for Gofundme fees, visa application fees, and family expenses back in Nigeria. Airfares, travel, & initial expenses are quoted at $6,200 so we need another $2,700 to get to the finish line. We're looking to add an E-transfer option and will update again soon.
Thank you to every one who has donated, prayed and supported in so many ways. God bless you and may jubilee and favour be yours.
Here's the short version of their story. With courage and faith, Angelina Ogundimu came to Canada to clear the path and lay a foundation for a better life for her four girls and husband, whom she left behind in Nigeria. As a caterer in her home country Nigeria she had high hopes of contributing her skills here in Canada. Sadly, that is not how things turned out, as she passed away after being hospitalized in Toronto. Her four young daughters, aged 10 - 16 years, and her husband are now mourning the loss of the mother and wife they had hoped to be reunited with in time.
To help ease the pain of this unexpected loss, a group of concerned friends are trying to bring some of the immediate family members to Canada to help bring closure.
Donations of any amount would be greatly appreciated. Please give generously and circulate widely. We are aiming to cover their travel & initial expenses through this fund. The funds & process are bring managed and accounted for by a group of individuals at arms length from each other. Our target is $6,200 to cover travel and initial expenses.
Thank you and may God bless you.
