On March 1, 2026, my family experienced a devastating tragedy when their home was completely destroyed in a fire. My mom, Shannon Kroh, my dad, Louis Kroh, their grandchildren Mary and Bob Unger, and their beloved pets are all displaced and facing an uncertain future. The fire left nothing behind—every belonging, every memory, and the comfort of home was lost in a single night. The house now needs to be demolished, and we are still hoping that some of the pets can be safely rehomed if they survived. The loss has left everyone in shock, unsure of where to turn or how to start rebuilding their lives.

The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward helping my family get back on their feet. They urgently need temporary housing, basic essentials, and support with the costs of demolishing what remains of their home. Additionally, any help with rehoming the pets will be a huge relief as we try to ensure their safety and well-being. Every dollar will make a difference in helping them recover from this unimaginable loss and begin to rebuild.
