The Kelly Gang – Kelly, Luke, John, and Betty – are a much loved family in our Mudgeeraba and Bonogin community. Living a travelling lifestyle, their only means of transport and towing their home (a caravan) is their old Mitsubishi Pajero.

Recently, their Pajero has needed urgent repairs, potentially costing them thousands of their hard-earned dollars. Now, they’re left without a car, and with no certainty it can be fixed well enough to get them safely back on the road.

Kelly and her family are truly the heart of our community. They work tirelessly cleaning, gardening, and house sitting, always going above and beyond to help local families. Luke and John, Kelly’s sons, are respectful, hard working young men who stand by their mum’s side, contributing to the family’s work and spirit every single day.

Without a car, the Kelly Gang cannot continue their work, and they have no way of towing their caravan, their home. They are determined, but this setback is heartbreaking.

Let's rally around them as a community to help ease the financial pressure of repairs or, even better, to help fund an affordable, reliable replacement vehicle that will get them safely back on the road and back to doing what they love: supporting our community.
